RESTAURANT SPOTLIGHT: THANKSGIVING AT SPENCER'S
Spencer’s Smokehouse and Barbeque in Choctaw is on a mission to simplify your Thanksgiving while adding another dimension of flavor to the traditional dinner.
The local restaurant is inviting families to bring in a turkey of their picking to the restaurant and get it smoked in time for the holiday.
Spencer’s will take orders for turkey smoking from Nov. 1 through Nov. 20. Customers can drop off their turkeys on Nov. 21 and pick them up Nov. 23, the day before Thanksgiving. The birds must be thawed, not frozen.
For those who want help with another layer of their sprawling feast, Spencer’s also takes orders for homemade yeast rolls as well.
Thanksgiving is a day for family, feasting, and football. In between attempting to prepare a perfect day of festivities and have fun, why not accept a little help from the neighborhood spot that’s lending a hand?
